Enchanted Glass Designs is Jan Kosnick. As a native New Mexican, with relatives dating back to the Coronado expedition, Jan has always had a deep love for its rugged mountains, the serenity of the Rio Grande valley, the beauty of the dessert in bloom, and the rich cultures of its people. As a child she recalls her curiosity about the "haze surrounding the mountains and the desert" and her father describing it as "part of our enchantment". Jan expresses that vision and love of this "Land of Enchantment" through a media that combines a unique utilization of carefully selected stained glass, crystals, polished rock, marbles and metallic foil.

News:
Jan is now showing her art at Mesilla Valley fine Art Gallery in Mesilla, NM.

You can also find her wind chimes and BirdSpas at the Las Cruces Farmers and Crafts Market.

A graduate of New Mexico State University in Horticulture, she pursued both her love of plants and art to ascertain her training in Landscape Design. Her desire to express these two passions has led her to create and capture her unique visions of the beauty of the New Mexico landscape and many flowering plants, animals and birds.

Starting out with an idea for creating beautiful stained glass bird baths (hence- forth called 'BirdSpas') her creativity grew to include decorative art work in various settings including permanent wall designs with local home builders and decorative art pieces with galleries and craft stores across the state.

Because of the overwhelming desire by the public for her products she has expanded to include an online market.

She welcomes the opportunity for custom designs and always looks forward to a challenge.
